The Learning Support Programme at NESISM comprises a team of qualified Counsellor, Special Educator and EAL Educator (English as an additional language) and believes in the importance of a collaborative approach to serving students, including parent, classroom teachers and administrators in implementing and monitoring for growth and success of the learner.
The Learning support team work towards collaborative teaching approaches to motivate the learner to reach his maximum potential. The Learning Support team supports the school’s policy of promoting inclusive educational practice by collaborating at various levels.
The LSP provides students with skills and strategies based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to enhance their learning. The school community is sensitized about the needs of the learners, their individual strengths and challenges, and recommends differentiation strategies for learner’s learning needs and styles.
